Dynamic Image Text Replacement

Tired of using standard fonts for your headings?

We have utilised several dynamic image text replacement techniques for several projects recently - namely Principle360 and Julie Lawford. In both cases, the font we used is Myriad Pro Bold.

The techniques from an article first posted on A List Apart; http://www.alistapart.com/articles/dynatext (we used this for the Julie Lawford site). This method does rely upon JavaScript, whereas another method which can be found at http://www.artypapers.com/csshelppile/pcdtr does not, and uses output buffering to produce a very quick response time. However, despite the limitations of the Rosenberger method, we have found it more reliable, particularly for dynamic pages, and this is our preferred choice going forward.
