Product catalogue for Saxon Brands goes live
Saxon Brands, a major distributor of branded consumer products in the UK and overseas, today launched Saxon Products, a website devoted to displaying information relating to all of the brands under its control.
The website comprises a content management system, and product catalogue with 3 levels of categorisation. Web Preference provided the ability for the client to display multiple options for the product detail page - part number, barcode, colour, size, case quantity etc.
The main drop down menu is dynamic, and the client can choose the order in which categories, sub categories and products appear in it. The contact form incorporates server side validation and uses the recaptcha form to help combat spam. Integration with the email marketing tool implemented for the Saxon Brands website, is included.
As with all websites built by Web Preference, the urls are search engine friendly, while the mark up is in XHTML 1.0 Strict and all layout and styling is controlled through the use of external style sheets.
